My research interests lie at the intersection of optics, biological materials, and clinical diagnostics. I am familiar with collaborating with engineers, biologists, surgeons, pathologists, and students to design novel solutions to current clinical problems. The goal of my current work is to use imaging and analysis methods to develop diagnostic methods that are easily adaptable to any level of resource setting, whether for use in the clinic or for research. I also have a strong interest in STEM education research to increase recruitment and retention at all levels of education.

I have two sub-pages of  my Publications and Professional Presentations.
